The summer holidays are almost here and after 2 years of lockdowns and restrictions, if you’re anything like us, you’re desperate to get away! Whether you’re jetting off somewhere exotic, exploring a new city, planning days out or off on a camping adventure, here are some tips on what to take.
Relaxing on a beach is the perfect break from the realities of daily life. First in the beach bag are a hat and sunscreen – must haves to stay safe in the sun. A good book, pair of shades, swimwear and a beach cover up are essentials, and packing an insulated water bottle will keep your drinks cold all day even in the heat of the midday sun, so you can stay hydrated and cool. If you’re planning on sipping cocktails on the beach, don’t forget to take a reusable straw!
Exploring a new city is thirsty work, so make sure you pack a reusable cup which can be used for your morning coffee while strolling in the city and refilled with water which will stay cool to keep you hydrated for a long day of sightseeing. Put on your comfortable shoes, download a city map to your phone and you’re set!
Let’s face it, there’s no way to pack light for a camping trip! Don’t forget to include an insulated bottle which can be used to keep tea and coffee warm or to keep water cold. Our 750ml bottle holds a whole bottle of wine and will keep it cold for 24 hours – perfect for the first evening by the camp fire.
Summer days out
You might not be going on holiday, but with the kids off school over the summer there will be plenty of days out. Don’t forget to take plenty of water for the kids to stay hydrated. Choose a fun design bottle that kids will love and they might even carry it too (or maybe that’s wishful thinking!).
