This year, it’s the Coral pantone that has been elected, and designers have already been giving their work multiple shades of this vibrant tone in light of the announcement.

The colour name ‘Coral’ takes its origins from the brightly coloured sea animals ‘corals’ and has historically been used for jewellery thanks to its bright eye catching tone. In days gone by it was extremely popular among Chinese emperors, associated with success, joy and longevity with its complementary colour traditionally known to be teal.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”48px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text animation=”animation top-to-bottom”]Today the colour coral may not be so well known for its association to emperors, but it is still considered highly fashionable and contemporary. Its ability to stand out from the crowd makes it hard to miss on accessories, make up or fashion items. Many dazzling coral outfits and accessories were spotted in the last galas, catwalks and fashion week with the colour featuring prominently on Brandon Maxwell’s Spring 2019 Runway. The dazzling colour is also making its presence known in online shops, noticeably trending since the beginning of the year.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”48px”][vc_single_image image=”3413″ img_size=”medium” add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center” css_animation=”fadeInUp”][vc_empty_space height=”48px”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”3411″ img_size=”large” add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center” css_animation=”fadeInUp”][vc_empty_space height=”48px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text animation=”animation right-to-left-long”]At Lund London we also love this captivating colour making our latest best seller, the Skittle Bottle, available in the vibrant coral tone with a contemporary indigo lid.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”3414″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” css_animation=”fadeIn”][vc_column_text animation=”animation left-to-right-long”]The Skittle Bottle has been a huge hit since its launch earlier this year with the coral colour being one of the biggest successes for both men and women. With its deep toned lid and brightly coloured body it’s a must have accessory for everyone.

Adding to our collection of coral designs is the Lund London braided watch made from highly durable para-cord and finished with stainless steel dial and clasps.   If coral’s your special occasion colour then you can buy the strap separately and customise your watch whenever you fancy in a matter of seconds.  It’s also a great gifting idea for anyone you know already with the Lund London watch! With the possibility to change straps easily, it will be a piece of cake to switch from the pantone of the year 2019 and the one of 2020 (although we suspect you won’t want to let the coral accessory go for a long time yet!)[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”48px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”3415″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” onclick=”custom_link” css_animation=”bounceInLeft” link=””][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”3416″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” onclick=”custom_link” css_animation=”bounceInRight” link=””][/vc_column][/vc_row]
