Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from all of us at Lund London!

What a year it’s been for everyone. Never before have we felt so much like we’ve earned a few days break to relax, eat, drink and enjoy the festivities.

It’s going to be a little different this year. No office Christmas parties, no drinks in bars with friends and no big extended family get togethers. But that doesn’t have to mean no fun. Here are some of the ways the Lund London team will be spending the holiday season.

Office parties go digital

We may not be able to get together in person, but this year we have learned the joy of the Zoom quiz. Ok, it’s not always always a joy and during the first lockdown the sheer volume of quizzes we were all taking part in may have become a bit tedious, but it’s been a while and now we almost miss it, so we resurrected the online quiz for our Lund Christmas party this year, and it was so much fun!

Let’s go outside

Socialising outside was much more fun in the summer, sunbathing in the park with a glass (or maybe a bottle) of rosé and our five favourite friends to stay within the ‘rule of six’. Although it feels less appealing in the winter months, it’s our only option to meet up with friends from other households so we’ll be wrapping up warm, filling our Skittle bottles with mulled wine (which our bottles will keep warm for up to 12 hours – plenty of time to chat!) and heading outside to see our friends.

‘Tis the season for giving

Christmas is not only a time to celebrate with our friends and family, but also a time to think about others less fortunate than ourselves. At Lund London we took part in the Save The Children charity Christmas Jumper Day, all wearing our best Christmas jumpers whether working from home or in the office and making our donations to the very worthy cause.

Eco Friendly gifting

Some surveys have shown that the Covid-19 pandemic has made people more aware of our impact on the environment and more motivated to make positive changes to be more eco friendly. We hope this means consumers will be thinking about eco-friendly gifts and decorations this Christmas along with recyclable wrapping paper for a sustainable way to celebrate the festive season.

Merry Christmas to all our wonderful customers!

This year has been tough for everyone, and as a small business we are grateful to all the customers who have supported us by buying our products. We wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
